They say trouble comes in threes – West Monkton have closed their village hall, so our April meetings are also cancelled. The status of other activities will be decided as we go along.
Apologies to all – keep safe and healthy, Bill.

It is with regret that Mike Werkmeister and Sally Gregson have agreed to cancel the plant fair. This is an upsetting step but felt to be the appropriate decision for all concerned.
Bill.
Hello everyone,
Given the circumstances the committee asked me to let everyone know that we won’t be holding this Saturday’s meeting. If you have questions please use the contact form or reply to this email.
Best wishes, Bill.
Hello all,
The committee has been considering the current situation with the Coronavirus and felt it would be useful to find out more about the intentions of members for the March 21st meeting.
If you could click here and complete this one multiple choice question we will then be better informed.
The meeting is still on, with the above information we can validate how to handle the virus situation going forward.
Please take a moment to complete the question above,
Many thanks, The Committee.
Andrew Ward of Norwell Gardens and Nurseries is coming to talk to us on Saturday 21st March. Members may pre-order plants from him via email and he will happily bring them on the day, when payment should be made.
Please note, Andrew only accepts cash or cheques – no bank cards.
You can browse the nursery catalogue here: Norwell Gardens and Nurseries
To order, email wardha@aol.com with a list of the plants you would like. Not everything on the website is always available, but Andrew will let you know if something you’ve ordered is out of stock.
A full reminder for this meeting, with details of Andrew’s talk, will be sent out in a week’s time.
Best wishes, Bill

Hello,
I made a mistake, the EMLG Plant Fair is on March 28th, apologies for that. Meanwhile the need for parking help from 9:30am to 12pm on Saturday 28th. Please reply to this email or contact Sally Gregson if you can spare some time. This is the biggest event of the year for the Somerset HPS group and funds the wonderful speakers we have each season.
Many thanks, Bill.
At our plant fair on the 29th of March we need people to assist in the car park between 9am and 11am to help the initial rush of people arrive and get parked. Sally Gregson would dearly like to hear from you if you can spare an hour or more during that time slot.
Please reply to this email if you can help. Many thanks.

A request from our member Rowena:
I am desperate for pots size from 2 litre to 5 litres, black nursery type. I wondered if any member would have any unwanted ones? I hope to be at the meeting on Saturday if any one could oblige.
Many thanks Rowena Varley.
